After Sunday’s 44-17 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, mixed emotions filled the Washington Redskins locker room as some players stood by their lockers for the final time to end their season. For some players, the offseason will be a time to critically analyze the 2014 season and take the necessary steps to get better physically and mentally. For the veterans, it will be a time to reflect and maybe consider the possibility of retirement.

Robert Griffin III has been given the starting job for the third time this season, each time under different circumstances. He was labeled as a franchise QB coming out of training camp, but he dislocated his ankle in Week 2. When he returned, he played poorly and was benched after three games. Now he’s been given a second chance getting the call for Saturday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles. He’s not starting because he deserves it but because Colt McCoy has a sprained neck. McCoy was placed on season-ending injured reserve Tuesday......

The Washington Redskins are up against the New York Giants this Sunday at MetLife Stadium. Both teams entered this season with high hopes of making a return to the playoffs, but as the season winds down, both are staring at losing records and an off season of uncertainty. The Redskins are on a five game losing streak and the Giants just snapped a seven game losing streak. As a fan, this is not the spot you want your team to be in. The Giants have been terrible lately, but the Redskins have been even worse. This game will be a hard one to watch just because both teams are playing horribly. The Redskins will look to get revenge from the 45-14 spanking they took during week four against the Giants......
